WAN 2.2 Animate, NotebookLM’s new video styles, and a quick toolkit update

In partnership with

👋 Hey there,

Quick share today. I tested a new AI animator, and I think it’s one you’ll want to try out too.

Let’s dive in!

Find customers on Roku this holiday season

Now through the end of the year is prime streaming time on Roku, with viewers spending 3.5 hours each day streaming content and shopping online. Roku Ads Manager simplifies campaign setup, lets you segment audiences, and provides real-time reporting. And, you can test creative variants and run shoppable ads to drive purchases directly on-screen.

Bonus: we’re gifting you $5K in ad credits when you spend your first $5K on Roku Ads Manager. Just sign up and use code GET5K. Terms apply.

🎥 WAN 2.2 Animate — motion transfer in seconds

If you’ve ever wanted to take a simple reference video and transfer that movement onto any character or image… WAN 2.2 Animate is hands down the easiest way I’ve tried so far.

You upload a motion clip, upload the character you want to animate, and the tool does the rest. No rigging, no timeline editing, nothing complicated.

Here’s a sample I made so you can see what it looks like in action:

Why I like it:

  • Smooth motion transfer

  • No technical steps

  • Works with almost any character style

If you want WAN (and everything else I recommend for creators), you can find my full toolkit here:

🧠 NotebookLM — new video overview styles

NotebookLM just rolled out six new visual styles for Video Overviews, powered by Google’s Nano Banana image model. These make your explainer videos look way more polished without extra editing.

The new styles include:

  • Watercolor – soft, artistic visuals

  • Papercraft – layered, cutout-style scenes

  • Anime – bold, expressive, stylized characters

  • Whiteboard – clean sketch-style for teaching

  • Retro Print – vintage, screen-printed vibe

  • Heritage – elegant artwork inspired by classical motifs

They now show up for all users (Pro got it first, now public).
You can try it here: https://notebooklm.google.com/

These new styles make AI explainers feel way more engaging!

✅ Takeaway

WAN 2.2 Animate makes character animation easier than ever, and NotebookLM just made AI explainers look way better. Both are worth trying this week if you create content regularly.
